dHUA re-releases his Americana roots track 'Fugitive Slave Act (1850)'
from Roosters Go Back To The Koop (NFT, Reissue)
dHUA creates a powerful blend of deep blues in left field to create an emotional and thought-provoking track that pays tribute to freedom and courage. His own perspective on Americana.
Born in Easton Maryland, dHUA spent the first 10 years of his life a stones throw from the Mason Dixon line. He draws on his experiences of growing up in a place rich in history and culture to create this impactful track. dHUA invites listeners to step back and reflect on the past, to recognize the power of the struggle, and to move forward with strength and courage. He hopes his music will not only continue to challenge the status quo, but engage the hearts of the people who love freedom.
After 25 plus years in the independent music scene, he has always been determined to use music to spread awareness and create meaning.
