Dhakkir Hasan'i Khadam Rahmatallah (born William Lamont Robinson, 28 May 1972), also known as Bil Basmala (Basmala) and formerly Autolect, is an American Underground hip-hop emcee, songwriter, record producer and writer based in California. He also makes visual-art as HA (KULi HA/dHUA HA).
From 1994 to 2003, Rahmat'Ullah released records as Usephasan, traveling the United States, learning to make beats and compose music. He released a series of full-length albums, ep's and singles from 2005-2010 as Autolect. Occasionally garnishing the monicker until 2020.
In 2012, Rahmat'Ullah took on the Bil Basmala / Basmala monicker releasing another series of instrumental albums with a few ep's and singles. In 2020 he picked the mic back up, as Dhua. Releasing 3 more albums in 2020-21.
In 2022, Rahmat'Ullah released a demo, 1 album, 2 ep's with a few singles as HA Ya-Ali. A Mellow jazzy hip-hop project and thus a more mature presentation.
As a music producer and composer, he also creates ambient music from his PER Music Library brand. Including Hi-Def to Lo-fi, beat-art, film scores, and background production music, gaining traction in 2016.
Current and primary musical projects find themselves under the Basmala monicker. World, Arabesque, electronica and urban qawwali are crystallized in his visionary soul genre.
All material is published by Rahmat'Ullah (Robinson) under his Urban Sufi Music (SESAC) publishing company. He’s been affiliated with SESAC since 2004.
