ZEPHYR 76 is the release that exposes Acklans’ RUH as an accomplished composer and producer. The sound is diverse, ranging from experimental hip-hop to jazztronica. The EP showcases his creativity and skill as a producer and beat-maker. It's an impressive piece of work that demonstrates his talent.
RUH is a Beat maker, composer and 20 year SESAC member William Lamont Robinson. He has been producing music for over 20 years and has released over 50 albums under different monickers. including songs, collaborations, and other works.
He also released another album in 2023 under Acklan called "Rahmatika". He is a multi-genre producer and has worked with artists from underground hip-hop to commercial television music.
His music is known for a unique blend of jazz and electronica, creating a distinct sound. On his Footprints label which contains his back catalog and his latest releases, you can find jazztronica, hip-hop, rap, acid jazz, funk, fusion, electro-jazz, jazz, lounge, chillout, arabesque, middle eastern, arabic, trip-hop, downtempo, and alt-pop among the selections.
